On Line Security

Fraternity Federal Savings and Loan Association is committed to protecting the security of our customer’s personal information and account information.

Fraternity Federal Savings and Loan Association’s Internet Banking security systems have been designed to protect your personal financial information against unauthorized access. Fraternity Federal Savings and Loan Association will NEVER request personal or account information via e-mail, pop-up windows or by telephone.

In addition to Fraternity Federal Savings and Loan Association’s Internet Banking security systems the following are additional suggestions to further protect your personal and financial information.

Access ID and Password

To access Fraternity Federal Savings and Loan Association’s Internet Banking service, you have been assigned an initial TEMPORARY Access ID and Password that is for your use only. For your protection, the ability to logon to Internet Banking with these initial TEMPORARY codes will only be available for 20 days after you have applied on-line. If you haven’t performed your initial logon by then, we will disable those codes to protect against any unauthorized access. You may then re-apply to set up Internet Banking with Fraternity Federal.

The following are suggestions to help protect your confidentiality, your Access ID and your Password:

  • Do not write down your password
  • Change your password from time to time (you will be prompted every 90 days to do so)
  • Change your password immediately if it becomes known, or you suspect it is known, by anyone else
  • Never give your password to anyone
  • Create a password only you know do not use your Access ID
  • Create a password that can not be easily determined by others such as, Social Security Numbers, birth dates, telephone numbers or other personal information such as family member names, names of pets, etc.
  • Create a password that is NOT consecutive such as 12345 of ABCDE, you will be required to use letters, number and symbols.

Initial Sign On

At initial sign on you will be asked to select an image and create a secret phrase. The image and phrase will be displayed each time you access Fraternity’s Retail Internet Banking web site. When logging on if you do not see your chosen image and phrase, you ARE NOT in our web site and may have been misdirected by malicious software. Make sure you have not entered any personal information and exit at once. Please notify us immediately if this situation occurs so that we may investigate.

Fraternity Federal performs one final check to assure that your privacy is protected. At initial sign on you will also be asked if you want to register the PC you are using. If you answer YES, each time you sign into our Retail Internet Banking web site using that PC we will verify the PC’s identity and allow you to access your accounts. If you logon using an unregistered PC, we will email a one-time password to your email address of record. This one-time password must be used within 20 minutes or it will expire.

Subsequent Log On

Each time you log on after your initial session, you will enter your Access ID. The next screen will ask for your Password. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE IMAGE AND SECRET PHRASE, DO NOT CONTINUE. Exit the site and contact us IMMEDIATELY.

If you do see the image and secret phrase, you will enter your password and log on.

Internet Banking log on will be denied after three unsuccessful log on attempts. In this event, you will be instructed to contact Fraternity.

Contact Us Email

E-mail is not a secure channel of communication. Do not e-mail any sensitive account or personal information such as account numbers or passwords, etc.
